Fargo was our first Borzoi, who came to us as an adolescent in 1985 from
Aatis and Ping
Lillstrom of Windhound Borzoi. Fargo was famous for his "taking"
of the lure and his shoulder roll with the attempt.
Windhound's New Nicole
Nikki was acquired when she was several years old and became our foundation
bitch when we bred her to Fargo, our foundation male. Our first litter was
born in January, 1990 and included
Phoenixx Ebony Quasar,SC,LCM 2, Phoenixx Aurora Borealis, SC, FCh and FC Phoenixx
Intent Fezzik,SC, LCM, SORC.

Quasar was from the first litter bred by us, a very sweet boy and Jane’s favorite. Quasar went on to become the sire of the “Las Vegas” litter with Amberwind’s Dash in the Dark as the dam.
Phoenixx Aurora Borealis,SC, FCH
Rora was also from our first litter and was Peter’s favorite girl. Rora was to be our next bitch to be bred, but she died suddenly shortly after we moved to Virginia. So-we changed plans in our breeding program and purchased Dash from Susan Mallonee to move forward.
